Pesto-Cheese Pastries

These are a favorite. I make them as an appetizer and everyone loves them. They are simple to make and delicious to eat....and they make you house smell wonderful.

Ingredients:
2 oz cream cheese, softened

1 oz Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp prepared basil pesto

½ pkg frozen puff pastry sheets (1 sheet), thawed

6 slices of thinly sliced deli ham

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Whisk cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and basil pesto together. Unroll pastry dough and use a roller to "mend seams" of the dough. Place slices of deli ham on dough to cover. Scoop cream cheese mixture on top of ham and spread evenly (I use a spreader like you would use to ice a cake and it works really well).
Roll dough starting from both ends and meeting in the middle. Use a bread knife to cut slices. (makes about 16) Arrange on cookie sheet and bake for 22-25 minutes.
